When I turn the silver knob
I get a kind of power.
It seems that all my good ideas
Are thought of in the shower.

Like the time my unfinished assignment
Was due the very next day,
I quickly consulted my inspiring mate,
Bob’s your Uncle, I got an A!

When I stand with soap in hand,
Neighbouring toilet and sink,
I somehow come up with a masterpiece,
Must be magic in the drink!

You may think I’m crazy,
But that water-saving great,
Has lead me to my finest works,
My golly! What a mate!

Now a thankful word to you,
My special sliver friend,
I want to express a deep affection
One that has no end.
